Charles Jamieson is one of the especially gifted. Whilst a student of
art at Glasgow School of Art he began acting and gained his equity card
before graduating from Glasgow School of Art. He has followed both
muses, sometimes acting, sometimes painting and when not doing either
will be found teaching art. Jamieson leads the life of a rennaissance
intellectual, almost casually,
so it seems, drifting from acting to painting to
film producing. Jamieson's profound love of travel has left him with a
soft spot for Greece, which he revisits frequently. Simple village
and coastal scenes appeal to lovers of the Aegean and to those who only
aspire to visit.
